Winter Plant Protection
Anti-desiccant spray and burlap wrapping programs need to be in place before the first hard freeze. Miss the window and you're assessing the damage in April instead of preventing it in October.

What Unprotected Plants Look Like in April:
Winter Desiccation
Snow & Ice Damage
Freeze-Thaw Cracking
Sun Scald
Boxwood Winter Burn
Anti-desiccant spray and winterization programs need to be in place before the first hard freeze. That window is October.
What We Do
Anti-Desiccant Spray
A protective film applied to leaf surfaces to slow moisture loss during temperature swings. Used as a supplemental treatment where burlapping isn't practical.
Burlap Wrapping
Physical wrapping of broadleaf evergreens and vulnerable shrubs to block wind and direct sun, the two main drivers of winter burn on plants like Hollies and Skip Laurels.
See anything you recognize or want a plant diagnosed?
Here’s what to do:
1. Describe what you're seeing
Fill out the form below. Include plant type, what the pest/disease looks like, and how long it's been happening.
2. We visit the property
We complete a detailed walk-through of the affected plants and surrounding conditions, including soil, drainage, adjacent plantings to diagnose the cause, not just the symptom.
3. Get a diagnosis and treatment plan
Learn what it is, why it happened, what the treatment window looks like, and what happens if it goes untreated. Specific to your plants and your property.
